About me
“When GRAMMY Ballot songwriter Nate Jones takes the stage, the vibe of any room instantly shifts. With a commanding yet peaceful presence, Nate pulls everyone into his musical embrace. His style is a unique blend of medicine music and classic rock ‘n’ roll, through the lens of a singer/songwriter and sound healer. Nate’s groovy and uplifting songs have become crowd favorites at conscious festivals all around New England. In addition to guitar and vocals, Nate’s high energy sets often feature harmonica, Native American flute, shruti box, and other instruments to create a live-looped soundscape that carries the audience away. At the end of the set, the room is always buzzing with energy, people hugging, laughing, sometimes crying.
Nate is the author of Amazon #1 best-selling Permission to Create, a book of songs, their lyrics, and real stories from his life highlighting themes of spiritual growth, synchronicity, and the artistic process. Along with his fiancé Tara, he hosts a yearly art and music retreat in southern VT focused on conscious community coming together to create. Between his touring and other events, Nate is passionate about doing music therapy and singing at nursing homes. He is also the founder/organizer & producer of GardenFest, a yearly 4-day music and permaculture festival outside Portland, Maine, creating a bridge between world classic international talent and local artists & artisans, with headliners such as Paul Izak, Tubby Love, Will Evans, Sierra Marin, Johnny Buffalo.
Since Nate’s music career took off in 2016, he has been fortunate enough to play over 1,500 shows, including going on tour across America twice. His debut single ‘Safe As We Can’ was placed on the official 2019 GRAMMY Awards Ballot in 2 categories, best rock song and best rock performance.
Since then he has played at dozens of conscious festivals and events all around the world, including Envision Festival Costa Rica, High Vibe Fest, Maine Fungi Fest, Pyro Eclipse Festival, Harmonic Earth, LionsGate Campout, Sacred Nectar Sanctuary, and many more.”
