About me
“Jenette Wilkinson, RYT 200
Jenette Wilkinson’s yoga journey began in 1997 at the old Saratoga YMCA on Broadway. While raising her four children, yoga remained an interest, but it became a true priority when she began experiencing low back pain and limited shoulder mobility from years of full-time desk work. Determined to address the toll of prolonged sitting, Jenette turned to yoga and Pilates—not only as a personal practice but as a way to help others reclaim their well-being.
Today, Jenette is a dedicated yoga and Pilates instructor who enjoys creating welcoming, inclusive environments that support students of all levels. Whether leading private sessions, semi-private lessons, or group classes, she designs her instruction to inspire balance, health, and personal growth. Her approach emphasizes safe, effective techniques that honor each student’s unique goals and abilities.
Jenette’s expertise is rooted in an array of certifications, including the Art and Science of Contrology® Pilates Instructor Training Program, a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification through YogaRenew, and Pilates Mat Certifications from Power Pilates in New York City. To deepen her teaching practice, she has pursued advanced training in Yin yoga, restorative yoga, children’s yoga, anatomy, breathwork, and pelvic floor health. This ongoing commitment to learning allows her to continually enrich her students’ experiences.
Currently, Jenette teaches at several local studios, crafting personalized sequences for students with diverse needs and abilities. Her classes encourage students to embrace their individual journeys while fostering strength, flexibility, and inner peace. Whether she’s leading a yoga flow or a Pilates session, Jenette prioritizes creating a safe, nurturing space where students can care for their bodies, cultivate resilience, and connect with their inner selves.”
